Self-leadership begins by connecting with your authentic self. It is only from this point of being “real” that you can make the meaning connections with others. From this starting point you can create and communicate your vision and set goals to achieve it. Your leadership will naturally follow at work and in your life as you learn to positively process such things as anxiety, burnout, self-sabotage, and imposter syndrome.

Effective communication puts the spotlight on those receiving the communication and what you want to accomplish with them. You will learn to use communication to take the receiver on a journey from where they start to where you want them to finish. Communication is not just speaking. In fact almost everything we do is communicating something so you must become adept at deeply hearing others and accurately, empathetically, and non-judgmentally hearing and seeing what they my be communicating to you. Listening and seeing others is an essential part of creating meaningful connections and improves relationships and cultures.

As we work together, your leadership will naturally evolve from your authentic self as you find your voice and set your vision. Authentic leadership requires you to have a clear vision for your work and life, a willingness to identify behaviors and beliefs that might block you, and a commitment to seeking feedback for continual improvement. Your goal is to be the best version of yourself and not a copy of anyone.

The transition from “doer” to “leader” changes the expectations for your performance. You are now responsible for the individuals and team you lead and will be judged by their performance. The skills and experiences that get you to be a leader have very little to do with your success as one. You are responsible for the growth and development of those you lead. Your first priority is to make sure they get what they need for the team and organization to succeed.

Step 2: Initial Engagement

An initial engagement of weekly or biweekly hourly sessions, with written and recorded material for takeaway exercises, assessments, customized action items, and accountability support. Based on your individual needs and goals, initial engagements are suggested to last approximately 3 to 6 months

Step 3: Ongoing Engagement

After an initial engagement has set firm foundations, ongoing engagements with customized cadences and lengths, are designed to push your continual improvement and deliver sustainable change.

  • Pricing depends on your professional circumstances. In the initial consultation we discuss pricing and determine your fees. We value flexibility and charge on a sliding scale, because we know life happens. Clients can discontinue the coaching relationship at any time and receive a refund for any payments made for coaching services not rendered by the discontinuation date.

  • We understand if you need to take a break from coaching and will never deny you. For coaching to be effective, it must work for you. Its purpose is to help rather then burden.
